T&R Floor Covering Distributors has introduced a new range of cost effective carpet
tiles. New Atom is a tufted 1/10” loop pile nylon tile. It is designed for heavy
contract use and is available in 14 solution-dyed shades, for standard two-day delivery
or next day by request.
Atom carpet tiles have a 33-wear classification, so offer the highest wear resistance
for a textile floor covering. They are also tested for suitability with castor chairs
– to EN 986 standard – so are ideal for demanding office environments. The anti-static
surface is easy to install and maintain and does not emit harmful emissions or odours.
Tiles are also free from heavy metals and feature a solvent-free, recycled backing
material.
As well as CE-certification, Atom also has EN 14041, fire safety compliance to EN
13501-1 and European REACH compliance. During production, industrial waste is recycled
or converted into fuel pellets, and at the end of the tile’s lifecyle, discarded
flooring can be converted into secondary fuel.
T&R extends preparatory range with new ‘fast-track’ Tilemaster systems
T&R’s floor preparation range includes a comprehensive collection of screeds from
leading brands including Ardex, F. Ball, Laybond, Tilemaster, Tremco, Ultra Floor
and Uzin. Preparatory products span from primers to screeds – and two new fast-track
Tilemaster systems join the range this spring. All products are available from extensive
stock, for standard two-day delivery or next day by request.
New Tilemaster Rapid Level 30 is an ultra-rapid setting, self-levelling compound.
The flexible, water-based formula features advanced binder technology and selected
additives, enabling all types of finished floor to be installed after just 90 minutes.
The product has superior flow and smooth characteristics and is suitable for application
depths of 2-15mm, in one application. As well as concrete and sand/cement systems,
Rapid Level 30 is also suitable for timber substrates and for levelling over underfloor
heating systems.
New, high-coverage Tilemaster Feather is an ultra-fine, rapid-drying system designed
for internal levelling and patch-repair. It is ideal for improving sub-floors prior
to floor installation and for patching/feathering depressions and trowel marks, and
smoothing over screw heads and joints. Floor coverings can be applied from just
15 minutes after application.
New Altro Wood Safety™ & Altro Walkway 20 join T&R’s resilient range
T&R has introduced two new safety floors to its resilient range - Altro Wood Safety
and Altro Walkway 20. Both surfaces provide a host of safety, hygiene and eco-benefits,
and are ideal for contract environments – including schools, nursing homes, leisure
and retail environments. Together, the two ranges provide 58 surface options, available
from extensive T&R stock, for standard two-day delivery or next day by request.
New Altro Wood Safety is a robust, heterogeneous vinyl sheet product with a 0.7mm
wear layer. It has an R10 and TRRL≥36 slip rating classification, which is retained
throughout its lifecycle, and it is offered in 16 timber designs – from on-trend
Bleached Oak to deep-toned Walnut Noir.
Altro Walkway 20 is a 2mm safety floor offered in 42 colour options, including bright
and subtle shades, and decorative chipped designs. It also achieves ≥36 on the pendulum
test, giving sustained slip resistance throughout its lifetime.
Both products are free from phthalate plasticisers; feature integrated Altro Easyclean
Maxis PUR Technology - for easy maintenance and colour retention – and have an A+
BRE Generic Green Guide Rating for Safety Flooring. Floors from each range are also
offered alongside T&R’s wide variety of accessories, including screeds, adhesives,
tools and workwear.
