New UZIN compounds & adhesives available from T&R stock and trade counter
T&R Floor Covering Distributors has introduced a series of new UZIN products to its
range of screeds and adhesives. They include heavy-duty smoothing compound UZIN
NC 160, as well as UZIN’s range of high-quality adhesives. All products are available
from extensive T&R stock, for standard two-day delivery or next day, by request.
A comprehensive trade counter is also available at T&R’s Nottingham warehouse facility,
along with expert advice from the experienced, on-hands team.
New UZIN NC 160 is a self-levelling compound for application on new and existing
substrates, prior to bonding textile and resilient coverings. The new 20kg unit
provides easy handling and high coverage of approx. 5m2 at 3mm. In addition, the
low emission product is cement and chromate-free and has recently been awarded EC1
R Plus® classification.
UZIN adhesives to join the range include a variety of options for PVC and rubber,
carpet and linoleum application – from pressure-sensitive glues to fibre-reinforced
formulas. Adhesives for profiles, stairs and walls; electrostatic-control installations
and easy release systems are also available.
New introductions to T&R's wood range
T&R’s extensive range of Kährs wood floors spans from traditional one-strip oak boards
to metallic-infused designer products. Collections include Kährs best-selling Original
and Linnea ranges, as well as exclusive designs from the Supreme Range. T&R also
offers complementary accessories and maintenance products, along with expert specification
advice and a fast, efficient service.
New designs to join T&R’s range include Kährs Founders Collection. A celebration
of Kährs’ Swedish tradition and craftsmanship, the collection includes eight new
rustic oak designs. Heavy brushing, handscraping and smoking techniques are used
to emphasise the lively grained timber and tactile finishes, whilst a distinct bevelled
edge complements the boards’ single plank format.

Combined shoe-and-barefoot Altro AquariusTM joins T&R’s safety floor range
T&R Floor Covering Distributors has introduced a new combined shoe-and-barefoot safety
floor range. Altro Aquarius is suitable for a host of wet and dry environments –
from shower/changing areas to hospitals - and for hard-soled footwear, as well as
soft and rubber-soled shoes and trainers. All 16 designs are available from extensive
T&R stock - for standard two-day delivery or next day, by request – and with a ten-year
warranty and 15 years’ lifetime sustained slip-resistance. The new range is also
offered alongside a wide variety of accessories, including screeds, adhesives, floor
trims, tools and workwear.
Available in traditional and contemporary designs – in chipped and non-chipped finishes
- Altro Aquarius provides optimum grip without studs, making it kinder underfoot
for the elderly/frail and achieving a pendulum test value of ≥36 and Class B to DIN51097
for barefoot use. Ground- breaking Altro Easyclean Maxis PURTM Technology offers
resistance to stains and chemicals and enables the surface to be cleaned with every
day solutions, rather than harsh formulas. The flush surface also prevents accumulation
of dust and dirt.
Altro Aquarius is highly flexible and coves and welds easily into awkward spaces.
